Visitor (tourist) visa (temporary resident visa) is a document that you can apply for to come to Canada for a vacation, family visit or a short business trip. Visitors are restricted in length of stay and subject to various conditions.

You are a business visitor if you:
1. Come to take part in international business activities without being part of the Canadian labour market
2. Are visiting Canada temporarily to look for ways to grow your business, invest or advance your business relationships.
3. Business visitors usually stay in Canada for a few days or a few weeks, but are able to stay for up to 6 months

eTA

An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is an entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. An eTA is electronically linked to a traveller’s passport. It is valid for up to five years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. If you get a new passport, you need to get a new eTA.
